It would be delightful, but virtually impossible, to attend all the DanceSport competitions staged over the the course of the year. Determining which competitions best suit your needs can be difficult without having access to accurate and complete information.
This was the problem Toni (my beautiful wife and dance partner) and I faced each year as we planned our competition schedule. Finally, we decided to build a web site that would help not only us but our fellow competitors and everyone else who is involved in and loves Dancesport competition make educated decisions on which competitions are the best for them.
Our web site makes comparison shopping easy by presenting all competitions in a standardized format. We also encourage you to utilize our discounted travel arrangements and to take advantage of the money saving packages that the organizers have designed for you.

DanceSportComps.com competition information is compiled from organizer brochures, packages and competition Web sites. We also invite competition organizers to access their own competition data pages to update them personally online to ensure the most up to date and accurate information is available to our members.
Objectivity and Comprehensive Coverage
DanceSportComps.com has no financial interest in any competition or organizing body. This means our Newsletter competition reviews are objective, and our listing of competitions is more complete than you will get from other sources. We list all available ballroom competitions Worldwide. Other competition information providers either supply information only on their client's events, or if they are a DanceSport governing body, they supply information only on their affiliated competitions.

DanceSportComps.com...The Book
In 2000 we were joined in the compiling of the data by the invaluable Elizabeth George who offered to help and suggested that a printed copy of the information would be useful as a reference guide, thus was born DanceSportComps.com...The Book.
The data was compiled (while the Web site construction began) and the first edition of The Book was printed in December 2000 covering the competitions in 2001.
In 2002 we started printing Books to order ( personalized with the customers name on the cover and covering the 12 months subsequent to date of order) with updates available through the Web site.
